Jewel Hedrick Robertson, age 79 of Gretna went home to be with her Lord, on Sunday, October 4, 2020, at her residence.
Born January 6, 1941, in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Clark William Hedrick and Minnie Pickeral Hedrick. She was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Billy Robertson; and one sister, Lavern Nichols. Mrs. Robertson was a member of Midway Baptist Church; and she was a home maker and part owner of Robertson’s Green House. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and being a part of all of the churches that her husband, Rev. Billy Robertson pastored.
She is survived by two sons, Dwayne Robertson and wife, Shannon, of Chatham, and Shane Kyle Robertson and wife, Elaine, of Chatham; two daughters, Mylinda Eure and husband, Chuck, of Sunbury, NC, and Connie Lynn Aaron and husband, Jack, of Dry Fork; three sisters, Jean Wells and husband, Larry, of Hurt, JoAnn Osborne and husband, Lynn, of Gretna, and Vickie Ferguson and husband, Tony, of Huddleston; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild on the way.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden by Rev. Lynn Marstin.
