Woman arrested in Gretna for Rustburg armed robbery

The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office announced on Saturday that a woman wanted in connection with a strong armed robbery in Rustburg on December 23 has been arrested.

Barbara Clark, 37, of Rustburg, was arrested in Gretna with the assistance of the Gretna Police Department on Friday, Jan. 7 around 9:30 p.m. The robbery had taken place along the Tower Hill Road area in Rustburg at approximately 4:57 p.m. on the day before Christmas Eve, according to CCSO reports.

Also according to the department’s report, the robbery victim was assaulted and had a large amount of cash was taken from his wallet. The CCSO is seeking the identity of a second woman involved with the robbery. Details other than that she is a white woman have not been made known yet.

The CCSO issued thanks to the Gretna Police Department and to the Community for their help in this matter.
