The Campbell County Sheriff's Office says they found a "substantial amount" of fentanyl that was seized from an Altavista home on Tuesday when they conducted a narcotics search warrant at a home located at 4845 Marysville Road.

The warrant was executed by the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division and the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team.

During the search, fentanyl was found and seized, ending in the arrest of 29-year-old Q’uartez Shakur Robinson of Altavista.

He has been charged with possession of schedule I or II substance with the intent to distribute.

Robinson was taken to the Blue Ridge Regional Jail and is currently being held without bond.
