Bridge before it was torn down

Mr. Poindexter submitted the following with this picture:

Knowing it was to close the following day after being a local landmark for about 90 years, my wife and I went walking at English Park late in the afternoon of Dec. 30, 2018.  Just before we left, I caught the setting sun between the bridge's abutments on the last full day it was open to the public.  For whatever reason, it came to me that night to give it the moniker "Prophetic Sunset," as the literal sunset took on a duality with the metaphorical by marking another step in the segue from older to newer times for the Staunton River Region.
