The Red Devils’ baseball team hit well against Amherst yesterday.  It started in the first when Kyle Fields hit one of his two home runs.

“We hit the ball well today we just have some errors that we need to clean up as a team,” Fields said.

In the second inning Rustburg put 5 more runs on the board.  Drew LaPrade hit a home run deep to center field in the third.  Grayson Ware also had multiple hits.

Going into the bottom of the fifth inning it was 9-2 Rustburg. With 2 runners on base, Fields hit a walk off 3-run homer dead over center field.  As he hit home plate, the players rushed in to celebrate with him. The hit ended the game 12-2.
