Jeffrey Franklin Davis turned himself into authorities on April 7, according to a statement from the Halifax County Sheriff's Office.

Davis was wanted for second degree murder. He is suspected to have been involved in a shooting that took place in Halifax County last Friday. He is now being held at Blue Ridge Regional Jail without bond.
