The Central Virginia Youth Football League will kick off its 2013 season Saturday, Sept. 7.
Teams in the league are Appomattox, Brookville, Rustburg, Monelison, Amherst, Concord, Gladys and Lynch Station. The league has four divisions: trainee, mites, midgets and varsity.
On Sept. 7, the Lynch Station Lizards will play at Amherst, with games at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 12:15 p.m. and 1:45 p.m.
Other games that weekend will have Appomattox at Brookville, Rustburg at Monelison and Concord at Gladys.
On Sept. 14, Lynch Station will host Concord at Altavista High School, while Amherst will play at Gladys, Brookville will host Rustburg and Monelison will host Appomattox.
The Lizards play all of their home games at the high school.
On Sept. 21, Lynch Station will host Gladys, while Concord will host Brookville, Rustburg will host Appomattox and Monelison will host Amherst.
The next Saturday, Sept. 28, Brookville will be at Lynch Station, Gladys will host Rustburg, Concord will host Monelison and Amherst will be at home against Appomattox.
On Oct. 5, Lynch Station will travel to Rustburg, Amherst will host Concord, Appomattox will play at home against Gladys and Brookville will host Monelison.
On Oct. 12, the Lizards will play at home against Monelison, while Rustburg will host Amherst, Concord will host Appomattox and Gladys will play host to Brookville.
On Oct. 19, Lynch Station will travel to Appomattox, Monelison will welcome Gladys, Brookville will host Amherst and Concord and Rustburg will play at Rustburg High School.
Oct. 26 is set as a rain date or the start of the playoffs. Nov. 2 will be a playoff game or the championship game. The title game will be played Nov. 9 if the season has one rainout.
