Nancy Louise Hunt Morrison, 66, of 3212 Leslie Street, Lynchburg died Thursday, September 10, 2020, at her home.
She was born August 22, 1954, in Pittsylvania County, a daughter of the late J.C. Hunt and Martha Ann Pannell Hunt. She was a former member of The Canaan Land Church of Gretna, a current member of New Bethel Baptist Church of Hurt and a retired employee of Klopman Mills. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her beloved family traveling, taking trips and planting her flowers.
She is survived by two daughters, Preatae Morrison of Lynchburg and Tammy Hunt of Hurt; one son, Odell Morrison, III of Lynchburg; four brothers, James Hunt of Blacksburg, Robert Hunt of Hurt, Richard Hunt of Hackensack, NJ and Henry Miller of Gretna; two sisters, Betty Hunt of Hurt and Kathy of Florida; a special grandson, Sean "Za" Hunt; devoted aunt, Marie Younger; devoted cousin, Hattie Carter; a step-father Robert Hunt of Hurt; a future daughter-in-law, Kendra Lee; and her canine companion, Princess. She was preceded in death by two sons, Freddy Rico Hunt and Jeremiah Morrison; one sister, Dale Hunt; and her niece Rhonda Hunt.
The family will have a private gathering.
