James Tyler Hall, 68, of 1141 Wyatt Miles Road, Gladys died Thursday, November 28, 2019, at his home. He was the husband of JoAnn Logwood Hall for thirty-seven years.
He was born September 25, 1951, in Gladys, a son of the late Buford William Hall and Janie Martin Hall. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and a retired diesel mechanic that loved NASCAR.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, William Arthur Hall and his wife, Mary, of Sandy Level and Travis Tyler Hall and his fiancé, Kim Kelly, of Gladys; two brothers, Wayne Hall and Thomas Hall and his friend, Regina, all of Gladys; one sister, Carolyn Dawson and her husband, Curtis, of Gladys; and two grandchildren, Amber Hall and Tyler Hall.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Forrest Hall.
A funeral service was conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at Liberty Baptist Church, Evington by the Rev. Jeffrey Chapman. Interment followed in the Rice Family Cemetery, Gladys.
The family received friends from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m., Monday at Liberty Baptist Church, Evington.
