Sue Wolfe Cox, 80, of Lynch Station died Monday, December 16, 2019.  She was the wife of George Allen Cox, Sr. for sixty-five years.

She was born June 19, 1939, in Campbell County, a daughter of the late Howard Lace Wolfe and Gertrude Ward Wolfe.   She was a member of First Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Allen Cox, Jr. (Tina) and Thomas “Buck” Cox (Lisa); two daughters, Ellyn Cox (Donald) and Delene C. Andrews (Ronnie); two brothers, Tommy Wolfe and Mike Wolfe; one sister, Barbara Elliott; twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.           

She was preceded in death by a son, Zaccary S. Cox; three brothers, Eldridge Wolfe, Edward Wolfe and Jimmy Wolfe and one grandson, George Allen Cox III.

A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 20, 2019, at Finch & Finch Chapel, Altavista by Lory Brafford, Minister.

The family will receive friends beginning one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  The family would prefer no visitors at the residence.
