Two arrested in home invasion, theft case

Campbell county men charged after homeowner tied up, robbed

 The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation of a home invasion and theft of a residence located in the 7000 block of Gladys Road, Altavista.

On June 11, 2020, the agency responded to a report that two males had entered the residence armed with a handgun. The homeowner was bound and several items were taken from the residence.

After a thorough investigation, Troy Lamont Oakley of Evington, age 46, and Orlando Winston Berger of Altavista, age 47, were arrested on Friday, June 26, 2020. Both individuals were charged with Robbery, and Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Robbery.
