The investigation into the April murder of Lisa Simone Henderson, 23, of Appomattox, has resulted in a second arrest.

The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office issued a press release stating that Marquie Brandon Williams, 25, of Regal Court, Lynchburg, was arrested at around 12:30 p.m. July 3 and charged with second degree murder and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

Lisa Henderson was last seen April 5 and was officially reported as missing shortly thereafter. Her body was found April 10 in a wooded area on Plum Branch Road, somewhere between Concord and Rustburg.

The press release confirmed that Henderson and Williams were involved in a personal relationship at the time of her death.

Williams, along with another suspect, Felix Jerome Jefferson III, are being held without bond at the Amherst County Adult Detention Center.

Jefferson, 21, of Lynchburg, was arrested April 10, soon after Henderson’s body was found.
