ALTAVISTA -- Two Hurt residents were arrested Feb. 1 on multiple drug-related charges after an Altavista police officer reportedly located suspected cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana and synthetic cannabis in their vehicle, according to authorities.

Tabitha Lynn Moore, 36, and David Curtis Nowlin, 40, were each charged with possession of a schedule I or II drug with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana.

Each was transported to the Campbell County Adult Detention Center in Rustburg where they were booked into the jail. 

The pair are expected to face additional charges pending a lab analysis, according to a APD news release.
