Kidd pleads guilty to murder of neighbor

Evington man, Tony Allen Kidd, 54, has pleaded guilty to capital murder in a case where he brutally murdered his next door neighbor, Robin Chenault, and beat her husband, Dale Chenault back in October. Kidd faced nine charges in connection with this case.

He appeared downcast as he answered Campbell County Circuit Court Judge John T. Cook’s questions this week.

Kidd went on a rampage after being released from jail for assaulting his girlfriend. Before he came home, the Chenaults who lived next door, helped the girlfriend and the couple’s baby pack and leave the premises.
