A huge selection of military surplus and survival gear is available at this location.
Owners of the new facility are Ken and Debbie Cantrell who recently moved to Nathalie from Hampton where both have lived all their lives. Debbie’s mother and dad and also Ken’s mother and dad are from the coal mines of Kentucky and Virginia. Both of their grandfathers got killed in Kentucky (Ken’s) and Virginia (hers).
“I wanted to get away from the rat race and move out to the country. All of the shootings and crime in the larger cities made me want to get out of heavily populated areas so I started looking online for property about five years ago. I looked in West Virginia, Kentucky and was fortunate to find what I wanted in Nathalie. It’s got seclusion, water, plenty of game, and is in the middle of nowhere just like I want it to be,” he explains.
After buying the property, Cantrell didn’t do much with it other than put an RV and a few other things on it. He met Debbie about five years ago and they married a year later.
