Dear Campbell County Citizens and Business Owners:
It is an honor to serve you and your families as Sheriff. I want to assure you that the Campbell County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) will remain vigilant in response to public safety needs in our community, while practicing precautionary measures to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. This situation is unique, but we want to assure you that we are committed to doing everything possible to assist you in any way that we can.
We have implemented many precautions during this time to ensure the safety of our staff and the public. We ask that you join us in the effort to help prevent contracting and spreading the virus by following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines.
The CCSO is committed to responding to calls as quickly as possible. If our physical presence is not needed, we can take reports by telephone. We are utilizing all Sheriff's Office personnel to increase manpower on patrols as well as increasing business checks in an effort to provide more security and peace of mind.
During this time, I encourage each of you to seek creative ways to enhance the well-being of yourselves, your families, and the lives of others. It is my hope that this will pass quickly, so we may resume our normal day-to-day routines. I truly believe that we will emerge on the other side of this much stronger and more united, as a community and as a country. Thank you for your assistance in keeping our agency and Campbell County safe.
If we can be of assistance to you, please contact the CCSO at (434) 332-9580 for non-emergencies.
As always, if you have an emergency, please call 911. Take care, be kind to one another, and God bless!
Winston W. Clark III
