Donald Trump, Jr. joined a big-name lineup of guests at Liberty University’s Wednesday Convocation as part of his book publicity tour. Kimberly Guilfoyle (Trump Jr.’s girlfriend and television political analyst), Charlie Kirk (founder of conservative student group Turning Point USA), Liberty President Jerry Falwell, LU First Lady Becki Falwell, and David Nasser (Liberty Senior Vice President for Spiritual Development) joined the president’s son for the panel discussion.
Also appearing during the convocation were the Zach Radcliffe Band, performing its patriotic single, “I’ll Stand,” and Vietnam Veteran and evangelist Tim Lee, who offered words of encouragement and motivation following the panel discussion.
Topics of discussion for the panel group included Trump Jr.’s new book, his and Guilfoyle’s recent appearance on liberal talk show The View, President Trump’s success in the face of media attacks, the administration’s fight to support constitutional and conservative values, the pro-life movement, and support for the nation’s military. Another major emphasis was the incivility and hostility of the political Left and the need for Conservatives to maintain a civil but engaged presence in the public sphere.
