CAMPBELL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE REQUESTS PUBLIC ASSISTANCE IN LOCATING RUNAWAY/MISSING TEENS

Campbell County Sheriff's Office Confirms Missing Teens Have Been Found; Special Thanks Given to Bedford County Sheriff and EMS Personnel

The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the public, as well as additional law enforcement agencies and professionals for their assistance in the location of two (2) missing teens.  On Tuesday, September 17, 2019, Jacob Morris, and Jasmyn Gordan were reported as runaway/missing persons by their families, which led to extensive search efforts.

Campbell County Sheriff’s Office confirms that the juveniles have been located, and would like to give a special thanks to the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office and EMS Personnel for their assistance in locating the missing teens.

UPDATE:

The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office is continuing the search for two (2) 15-year-old Campbell County teens.

On Tuesday, September 17, 2019, Jacob Morris, and Jasmyn Gordan were reported as runaway/missing persons by their families. Morris is described as being approximately 5'6, weight 117 pounds, with black hair, hazel eyes, and a birthmark on the left side of his face. Photographs are attached.

Investigations have confirmed that the two juveniles are traveling together.  They were last seen in the Chelsie Drive/Turkey Foot Road area and may be heading towards Route 811/Timberlake Drive on foot; however it is unknown if they are still in the area or if they have left the vicinity.  The teens’ location is unknown.   

Sheriff’s Office staff are continuing search efforts and request that the public continue to remain alert, and vigilant.

The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office reports that two (2) 15-year-old Campbell County teens remain missing as investigators continue the search. Law enforcement officials are asking residents to be alert and report any siting of Jacob Morris and Jasmyn Gordan, who were reported as runaway/missing persons by their families on Tuesday, September 17, 2019. It is suspected that the two juveniles are likely together.
